An actor who is in Red Dead Redemption 2 has revealed he has also played a character in GTA 6.
In an unexpected development, Reddit user AdviceWarm2500 caught the moment that Jim Santangeli confirmed he’s worked on GTA VI. The actor played Simon Pearson, the gang’s butcher and cook, in Red Dead Redemption 2.
During a TikTok livestream, Santangeli was asked by fans if he has any part in Grand Theft Auto VI. The actor did say “yeah, a little small bit.” He then went onto say he’s only played GTA Vice City. Even if Santangeli has a tiny role in GTA VI, it is still cool to see. Hopefully he does not get into trouble for saying such a thing nor Rockstar does not cut him from the game.
If this is true, it would not be massively surprising. Rockstar Games has a long history of working with actors across multiple games. For example, Ned Luke who played GTA V’s Michael De Santa was given a very small role in Red Dead Redemption 2. Manni L. Perez who looks set to be Lucia in GTA VI provided NPC voice work for GTA Online.
Furthermore, Johnny Ray Gill who provided voice over work for NPCs in GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 teased that he has also done some more work with Rockstar for GTA VI. Learn about that here.
We previously heard from ScHoolboy Q on Twitter back in February 2024 that he’ll be in GTA VI with his music. Plus, rapper/streamer T-Pain also said he has worked on GTA 6 with Rockstar; hence why he can’t play GTA RP server NoPixel anymore.
