GTA 6 just got another rapper confirming themselves for the game. ScHoolboy Q took to Twitter (currently known as X) to tell his fans he’ll be in GTA VI somehow in a surprise announcement.
On Sunday night, ScHoolboy Q posted on his Twitter account to remember the anniversary of his song Oxymoron featuring Kendrick Lamar releasing. This song can be heard in GTA V on the Radio Los Santos station so there is some connection to GTA here.
A fan replied to ScHoolboy’s Tweet and asked him to “drop some heat” for the GTA VI radio. The artist quote Tweeted the fan and said “Ima be on tHere don’t even trip”.
It is certainly interesting that an artist has confirmed themselves for this blockbuster game. Typically, they will be under an NDA to prevent such information getting out ahead of Rockstar Games. It is possible ScHoolboy Q is lying but we don’t know why that would be.
In 2022, Rockstar Games’ music label, CircoLoco, dropped an EP with a song from ScHoolboy titled Lets get it. You can learn more about the EP here. If ScHoolboy is on a radio station in GTA VI, this won’t be the first time he’s worked with Rockstar Games.
Rappers involvment
ScHoolboy Q isn’t the first rapper to confirm they’re going to be involved in GTA V. Back in January, we reported on T-Pain who claims he is also working with Rockstar on the next game.
The rapper said ” I used to be on nopixel then I started working on GTA VI and they told me I couldn’t do RP anymore”. Learn more about T-Pain being stopped from GTA RP streams by Rockstar here.
