An actor who has had roles in the two recent Rockstar Games titles, GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, has seemingly said he has returned for GTA 6. Plus, he shared when he thinks the game will release.
This is not the first time an actor/musician has come out and either hinted or straight up said they are in GTA 6. ScHoolboy Q told fans on Twitter back in February he’ll be in GTA VI with his music. Plus, rapper/streamer T-Pain also said he’s working on GTA 6 with Rockstar; hence why he can’t play GTA RP server NoPixel anymore.
Actor Says Without Saying He’s In GTA 6
Now for the latest: TV show “Cross” features actor Johnny Ray Gill who provided voice over work for NPCs in GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2. Gill took part in an interview to discuss the show and his career with Check It TV. As spotted by The Game Post, there was a slight tease of GTA 6 in there.
“Doing Red Dead Redemption was dope” – Johnny Ray Gill

He first shared what it was like to work on GTA V. Much like the main cast, Gill took part in motion capture performance where he did the voice for various locals you can find in the game’s map. Johnny then went on to tease he did work in GTA 6 as well. Whilst winking at the camera, this is what he had to say:
“I will say this, stay on the lookout. You know I can’t say anything but there’s another situation happening. You know in that world that that may be coming out in 2025, 2026 that I’m really happy about. (Interviewer: “GTA 6?”) I mean, I don’t know, I don’t know, I don’t know, stay tuned!” – Johnny Ray Gill
Of course, he does not out right say GTA 6 but it seems like that is the case. Also, the actor does not know Rockstar’s higher up’s true release date for GTA 6 but it is cool to know he might be in it again. Last week, reputable reporter Jason Schreier said he would be shocked if GTA 6 releases in 2025.
A well-known and accurate leaker Cryptic HD QUALITY said a friend of his recently played GTA 6 and described it as a “really great game“. Meanwhile Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said similar nice things about GTA VI in a recent interview. The big boss of Rockstar’s parent company said the game will be worth the wait despite us entering 2025 without anything since 2023.
