Rockstar Games‘ parent company Take-Two Interactive have announced when their Q1 2025 quarterly earnings report and presentation will take place. The four-time a year event led by CEO Strauss Zelnick discusses the success of Rockstar Games’ titles over the course of three months.
In the most recent earnings report, Take-Two Interactive revealed Rockstar Games had “narrowed” the release window of GTA VI from 2025 to Fall 2025. Plus, the company shared that GTA VI has now sold over 200 million copies since launch.

Take-Two shared details on the upcoming earnings report with Business Wire on Thursday. The financial reports will be released once the stock market closes on Thursday August 8th and the call with investors will take place at at 4:30pm Eastern Time on the same day. This date is not unusual and was expected.
What to expect from the report
Many fans speculate ahead of every Take-Two Interactive quarterly report that GTA VI will get some big news. Whilst we did get a Fall 2025 time frame last time, it is not likely we’ll get something such as the second trailer or screenshots for this report.
Investors are very much interested in GTA VI and usually ask the CEO questions about it so expect more of those. Sometimes, CEO Strauss Zelnick will give curious replies to GTA questions. If there are any, we’ll cover them in an article on this site.
Other things to expect updates on are GTA Online’s decline in revenue but also GTA+ growth. In the past few calls, Take-Two have said they have seen a big bump in GTA Online players over 10 years on but still expect a decline as GTA VI nears.

However, there’s a chance GTA Online might not see a decline just yet. In June, the Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC released it helped GTA V become the most downloaded PS5 game in June. It also was a big seller across Europe over the past couple of months.
On top of that, GTA+ has seen continued growth over the past year. Take-Two likes to point this out. Red Dead Redemption will also get updates at this quarterly event. The franchise’s second game continues to sell roughly a million copies every month which is a lot for a nearly 6 year old game.
