Red Dead Redemption 2 running on the latest Nvidia drivers appears to be having some problems on the latest driver update Nvidia introduced on 25 February 2021 (version 461.72).
A fellow Reddit user sprth shared a video on the r/PCRedDead subreddit demonstrating how the character models from the latest driver update are displaying black artifacting dots on the character faces. Other users in the Reddit thread share their similar experiences after updating their drivers.
There is a workaround thanks to chavez_ding2001 in the Reddit thread to fix this problem for the time being until Nvidia addresses this problem by switching the graphics API to DirectX12 in the graphics settings. Although it’s worth to keep in mind the Vulkan graphics API is a lot more optimised than DirectX12.
We hope Nvidia addresses the problem as soon as possible and will keep everyone updated when it’s fixed.

I had no issues with the character model, but all of my horses lost either half (the back half) or all of their mane :’D I had to go back to the previous driver version to fix it, it was really annoying :c
Games get broken and others fixed in every drive update… Its in the release notes. Should try reading them.
