Nopixel 5.0 has officially been confirmed to be in development along with teases of how it will change GTA RP. It has been nine months since nopixel 4.0 released with a ton of enhancements but a new chapter in the roleplay server’s story is soon to be written. This upcoming update is set to be another big one.
Owner of nopixel, Koil, posted a Tweet confirming nopixel 5.0’s existence. “Excited to share that nopixel 5.0 is currently in development” Koil said along with some big promises. According to the GTA RP server’s owner, it will be “built from the ground up to push the nopixel experience beyond anything we’ve done before”. It is also being touted as “a huge step forward for GTA RP”. Koil ended the Tweet telling players and fans to “Get ready for something new.”
Many fans have responded to this news with excitement. However, there are others who can’t believe a new version is coming out so soon and that 4.0 was also said to be a huge game changer for GTA RP. It will be interesting to see how 5.0 is and reactions from fans when it launches.
When is nopixel 5.0 releasing?
For those excited nopixel fans, it could be sometime before nopixel 5.0 is in the hands of players and creators. For context, the first video teaser for nopixel 4.0 was published by the server on August 13th last year but the 4.0 update did not release until December 15th.
Plus, nopixel 3.0 released all the way back in early 2021. If the team follow a similar pattern as last year, we can hope to see a few teaser videos showing off what 5.0 has to offer before the full launch.
Over the past year nine months since the launch of nopixel 4.0, the team released the nopixel store and several content packs. It ringed in the new year and was quickly followed up by new additions. Spring saw a few more packs up for purchase. All of these nopixel creations can be used on your own FiveM servers.
