Hugely popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat has had an emotional reaction to finding out Rockstar Games following him on Twitter and sending him a message to meet them. However, he has missed this chance of meeting the community team at Rockstar Games.
Cenat was live when he realised the GTA 6 studio were following his Twitter account. “Oh my gosh” he exclaimed a few times whilst his chat asked if he’s in GTA VI. Then the streamer quickly noticed Rockstar Games sent him a direct message.
After being stunned into silence for a few seconds, he shares his screen showing the DM sent by Rockstar to himself. Rockstar say that several members of their community team are visiting TwitchCon San Diego this weekend.
“We enjoyed watching your playthrough of Red Dead Redemption 2 and would love to introduce ourselves. If you’re planning to be at the event, please let us know” wrote Rockstar.
This led to Kai crying tears of joy and overwhelmed with emotion. Many people believe Kai has created a lot of incredible gaming content over the past few years and deserves the opportunities that come his way. He dresses up and themes his room whilst doing playthroughs of games. His Elden Ring playthrough was extremely popular. Below is a look at Kai’s room and himself set up for his time playing Red Dead Redemption 2.
Unfortunately, Kai is not attending TwitchCon this weekend. He is currently doing a Sekiro marathon stream. Hopefully the entertainer gets a chance at meeting Rockstar Games another time. You can watch Kai’s full reaction here.
Rockstar have history supporting Twitch
It’s no surprise Rockstar are visiting TwitchCon as Rockstar Games titles are some of the most livestreamed games, especially GTA V. For example, it was the second most watched game in 2023. They also are known to have attended in previous years such as 2019 where they had a booth.
They’ve have done various Twitch promos and events in the past. For a few years, Amazon Prime subscribers would get free in-game cash for GTA Online and Red Dead online each month. More recently, the company supported GTA RP week on Twitch. They donated more than 600,000 Twitch Subscriptions to GTA RP streamers. It was also rumoured they flew out several GTA RP Twitch Streamers to their office this year.
