The famous GTA RP server Nopixel will have another Music Awards ceremony take place once again this year. Creator of the event Party Hardy confirmed this in a press release on Thursday along with several details. This year’s event will mark the third year it has been held.
Owner of the awards Party Hardy said in the press release “I’m extremely happy to announce that the NoPixel Music Awards will be returning for 2024! This will be the third iteration of the award show, our annual celebration of music. Our remarkable previous show filled multiple theaters over compacity, right before the collapse of Los Santos.”
With two successful NPMAs under their belt, the team have learned a lot and are aiming to deliver an even better event this time round. Their hope is “to make the 3rd Annual NoPixel Music Awards the greatest event in the city’s history.”
They also have made clear what their goals are for this upcoming event. Below are the things they have set out to do with this 3rd annual NPMAs:
- Maintain the integrity of the NoPixel Music Awards for ALL music artists.
- Increase our budget and add to the EXTRAVAGANCE of the NPMAS!
- Continue to have iconic moments and performances on our grand stage.
- Hold the awards at the BIGGEST Los Santos venue of all time for the BIGGEST music celebration of all time!
- Celebrate music forever
No time or date for when the event will take place or when nominations will be announced has been revealed yet. Based on the past two years, the awards show will likely take place at the end of this year.
Last year saw 24 different categories for the pre-show and main show combined. It was also streamed live on YouTube and Twitch and took place within GTA V.
It’s quite remarkable to see the creativity and dedication of fans like this. Not only for a game but a modded version and one server in particular. It’s no surprise why Rockstar Games’ parent company wants to tap into it for monetisation purposes.
Speaking of music, singer-songwriter T-Pain revealed earlier this year the reason why he can’t play Nopixel anymore is because he has worked on GTA 6 with Rockstar. Recently, the team behind Nopixel released a brand new driving overhaul to the game. This can be purchased and used on FiveM servers. Learn more about it here.
