New to FiveM and overwhelmed by the options? Although FiveM servers offer an immersive experience that’ll make you feel like you’re living in Los Santos for real, not all servers are
created equal. There are some that are much more beginner-friendly than others.
To find a good FiveM server as a beginner, a good rule is to look for those that have active
moderators and clear game rules in place.
Here are six of the best noob-friendly FiveM servers that you should check out:
The Badlands RP
Max Players: 275
Badlands RP offers a tightly moderated environment where serious roleplay thrives. This server also supports (and actually requires) microphone usage by all game members so that you can
communicate with other players easily.
Perhaps the only drawback is that all game communication must be in English, so those who
want to join a server that offers support for other languages may want to opt for another one.
Designer Gas Club Gaming
Max Players: 48
Considered more than just a gaming server, Designer Gas Club Gaming is a less-popular GTA
RP server that was created to foster lasting real-world relationships among group members.
Today, it continues to accept new members daily, especially for civilian and criminal roles,
making it a good place for beginners to start if they are new to roleplay. Fun activities outside of civilian and criminal roles are also allowed on this server.
CityLife RP 2.0
Max Players: 250
While the CityLife RP 2.0 server acts similarly to other popular GTA RP servers, it’s a bit more
beginner-friendly since it offers simple gameplay options. The CityLife RP experience features a wide range of peaceful civilian roles, and activities like golfing, fishing, and hunting are available for you to try.
There is also a criminal world on the server, and new players are welcome to join and take on
those roles as well.
New Day RP
Max Players: 400
As one of the oldest and longest-standing roleplaying GTA communities, the New Day RP
server is a good option for beginners who want to join a large existing RP group.
This server community offers playing guides and forums that list the community game rules,
plus there are moderators who keep the experience organized for everyone. This server
additionally gives players the option to apply to be whitelisted.
Blue Bird RP
Max Players: 300
Based out of Australia, the Blue Bird RP server offers options for civilian gameplay as a daily
wage worker, police personnel, paramedic, or firefighter as well as criminal gameplay.
With the ability to host up to 300 players at a time, there is usually room for new players to join. There is no application system though the whitelist is nomination-base. Players that make a positive impact in roleplay can be put up for whitelist by other members. Staff accept new players and regulate the server daily, too, to ensure peaceful gameplay for beginners.
A new server, Blue Bird RP 2.0 is also in the works . The team are hard at work on it and will be introducing some of its “exciting updates” in the current live server over the next couple of months.
Mafia City
Max Players: 500
Another long-standing roleplay server is Mafia City, which has been around since 2019. This
server is known for its customizable options, and players can choose their own businesses,
corporations, and houses within the game.
Popular roles for players on this server include CEOs, police officers, and gangsters. This
server is a good option for beginners due to its easy setup. You will need to download RAGE
Multiplayer in order to access the Mafia City RP.
Conclusion
Whether you’re aiming to live a quiet life or rise as the next criminal mastermind, there’s a FiveM server tailored just for you. While FiveM offers more than just roleplay, RP servers dominate the landscape, providing unique opportunities to connect with others.
Just ask C.J. Gardner-Johnson of the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles, who bonds with his teammates over GTA RP, or celebrities like Travis Scott and LeBron James who dive into the action as well.
For a seamless start, consider top-rated beginner-friendly servers like Badlands RP or Designer Gas Club Gaming. While there are plenty of other servers to explore, keep in mind that they may not be as well-moderated or could involve a more complex application process.

I tried city life and I did really enjoy it,its a solid server, but they made food / water / phones on it so expensive compared to starter jobs. Its easy to get stuck in a death loop with no money if you’re new to GTA rp.
Avoid Mafia City, corrupt mods that lie to get you banned, full of kids in power tripped roles
Instead of focusing on servers that have celebs and crazy whitelisting processes, include B* RP the community there is great and welcoming. It’s also newcomer friendly and there server cap is 200.
