GTA V and GTA Online are leaving PlayStation Plus next month. Gamers who have had a PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium since December have been able to play the Story Mode and Online fully without owning the game.
There were 18 titles coming to the various PlayStation Plus tiers in December and GTA V was the big highlight. It joined just after the GTA VI trailer and The Chop Shop update released. The game is now leaving PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium after 6 months.
According to Push Square who spotted GTA V on the “Last chance to play” page part of the PlayStation Store, you have until June 18th to play the game with your subscription. GTA V is part of a 12 game list of games exiting PS+ on Tuesday June 18th.
The game that has now sold over 200 million copies is likely leaving just after the big summer update arrives. GTA Online fans can expect a large DLC in just a few weeks and we have the theorised release date and explanation here.
GTA V has also been a top downloaded game on PlayStation over the past few months; partly down to it being free with select PlayStation Plus tiers. It will be interesting to see how it fairs over the next couple of months once it has left PlayStation Plus.
Meanwhile Rockstar’s other blockbuster, Red Dead Redemption 2, has joined PlayStation Plus on May 21st. Anyone who has the Premium and Extra tiers can enjoy another masterpiece by Rockstar Games.

I wish you could integrate GTA 5 with GTA 6 online. This is one of the better games created, never a dull moment or boring moments. Also, in story mode, the characters should be able to enter all business own and operate like the vanilla unicorn, as well as interact with people on the streets and in the business. Give it a more life like interactional.
So is GTA online going to be able to be played without ps plus if you don’t have it?
