Rockstar Games have released yet another background patch for GTA Online in the month after the A Safehouse in the Hills update released. This patch focuses on fixing several glitches including exploits for god mode.
Background updates from Rockstar fix issues without the need of downloading an update. It is all handled server side. Rockstar have put out multiple background updates in the past month as well as a downloadable update for bug fixes.
Now a third post-mansions-dlc patch is out and fans will be pleased to a see bunch of the god mode glitches addressed. This latest background update came as part of the latest Event Week that runs through January 28th.
Patch Notes
The recent background update details from January 22nd come from the ever reliable community insider Tex2. He shared patch notes of the background update on Twitter. Below are all of the known changes:
- The voting screen is now skipped for new Lunar New Year Races and three new Deadline Adversary Mode maps
- Ragdolling is now disabled during both the Home Sweet Home mission and the Mansion Raid Adversary Mode
- Patched RC Bandito God Mode glitch
- Patched Nightclub Vehicle God Mode glitch
- Patched GCTF glitch workaround
- Patched “Obtain Mansion Trophies & Plaques Without Unlocking” glitch
- Patched Mansion Car Merge glitch
- Patched Mansion Driveway Dupe glitch
- Patched Office Garage Dupe glitch

That’s cool and all but you still haven’t fixed the invisible God mode glitch you still haven’t fixed the god mode viper you still haven’t fixed the god mode glitch in general
They should fix the glitch for the “rescue ULP” mission
Oh, I’m so glad they patched all these godmode glitches. As a 10+ year veteran player, at 17,000+ online hours played at1728 rank. I’ve learned how to play the game extremely well. And I’m a dominating force on my own or with my crew. These people going godmode are nothing more than cowards, small children, or modded account users who need to learn how to play. Or just go back to a less complex game like Pokemon or Fortnight where they feel less threatened. Because if these cowards who can’t go godmode, enter my lobby now. I’m gonna make you rage quit into the pause menu with the white flag of surrender, or hit your power button so you can catch my drift. And if you’re using a modded account in my lobby. I’ll repeatedly report you until you get character wiped. I play with two actual Rockstar employees online who respect me. Here my words cowards.
