A former Rockstar Games animator that worked on their most recent releases has shared details about his time at the company. During a new interview, the ex-employee also revealed a shake up to combat that he pitched for GTA V. The developer in question worked at Rockstar Games’ New England office between 2012 and 2017. Rockstar released this western masterpiece over 6 years ago to huge praise and millions of copies sold at launch. Rockstar Games have kicked off their Lunar New Year celebrations with a special competition for the GTA Online community in China alongside events for everyone inside of GTA Online. Valve, the creators of Steam, have just blocked everyone’s ability to see new GTA Online updates before Rockstar Games announces them including DLC drops. For many years now, a website ran by enthusiasts, SteamDB, has allowed us to view new game patches being prepared for release. Pre-release versions of Rockstar’s iconic PSP title Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories have leaked. First spotted by Rockstar Games community member MGgames100 on Twitter (currently known as X), a user uploaded a few pre-release beta versions of GTA LCS for PSP to the GTA Wiki before swiftly being deleted. Following a tease at the end of last year, Rockstar Games are set to begin Lunar New Year festivities in GTA Online this week. Details of what will come to the game on Thursday have been published to the game’s loading screen messages early revealing some of the surprises.
