Fans can finally wishlist GTA 6 and it has made many feel like this game is finally real. Hours after Rockstar Games released the second trailer for GTA 6, product listings for the game have gone live on the PlayStation Store. The listing reveals the exact time on release date it will come out.
At the time of writing, the product page is only up on the PlayStation Store. There is no entry for the game on the Xbox Store. This should happen in due course. At least fans on PlayStation can finally view the game’s store page on their console and wishlist it.
The game will be playable at 12am BST. This was changed as previously the page stated 4am UTC. The listing is complete with the keyart as its background, screenshots and logo.

Pre-order Time?
The store listing coming alongside the release date and trailer was to be expected based on Rockstar’s past behaviour with their other games. However, there are some differences in this circumstance.
For starters, a week or so after Rockstar Games put up pre-orders for GTA V, a second trailer came out. In comparison, Red Dead Redemption 2 pre-orders went live about a month after the third trailer. Also, you can only wishlist the game on PlayStation. It has not been rolled out to Xbox simultaneously.

Usually, when a game has a release date confirmed, pre-orders will open on the digital console stores. It is down to the publisher of the game to turn it on but that is what usually happens. We have an actual release date now but Take-Two and Rockstar have decided against taking pre-orders at this moment in time.
Given we are a little over a 1 year away, it makes sense. There will still be some marketing to come, perhaps in the form of a third trailer, over the course of the next 12 months.
