Rockstar Games have publicly responded to the GTA Online community regarding a major bug. Following the release of GTA Online’s San Andreas Mercenaries update, some fans have noticed vehicles were missing from their garages across the county.
The detrimental glitch appears to remove your Mors Mutual insurance from vehicles at random. This means if your vehicle is destroyed, there is a chance you cannot call up Mors Mutual to claim it and have it returned to your garage. Therefore there is no way of accessing your vehicle again.
Rockstar Games’ official Rockstar Support account responded on Twitter after a flurry of worried and impacted players. Rockstar Support tweeted “We are aware of an issue with vehicles and the loss of vehicle insurance in GTA Online. We are currently working to resolve this and will share an update as soon as it is available.”
The best case scenario would be a server side fix this week if a downloadable patch is not required. If not, GTA Online players could be waiting a week or so before this is fixed.
Currently Rockstar are aware of the issue and are actively developing a fix. It is unknown how long this will take. When Rockstar Support announce any further updates on this bug, we’ll report on it right here at RockstarINTEL.
