Rockstar Games have once again put props made for GTA 6 in GTA Online before the new game has come out. With the release of GTA VI Trailer 2, eagle-eyed fans have been scouring every frame with intense scrutiny to find whatever they can.
Another Asset Crossing Games
In the case of Twitter user @TGKSProductions, they saw item worn by one of the game’s main characters which was first introduced last year into GTA Online. He found that Cal Hampton‘s necklace is the Marble Moonstone Necklace. This was added into GTA Online with the Bottom Dollar Bounties Update.
Cal can be seen wearing it in the trailer though it is far more visible in one of the screenshots Rockstar provided everyone. Below is a comparison of the prop in the GTA 6 screenshot on the left and the GTA Online prop on the right.

Lucia Item Already In GTA Online
This is not the only prop from GTA 6 that was added in the Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC last summer. The Silver Layered Necklace was one of 350 pieces of new clothing items added in that DLC and can be seen being worn by Lucia in this shot in trailer 1.

Meanwhile @TGKSProductions also spotted the Güffy Cap worn by Cal in this screenshot below is very similar to the one added to GTA Online. It was part of the Import/Export Update all the way back in 2016. The pattern is similar but a little different and the logo is also not the same but still a fun find.

Technically, these items were made for GTA Online and were then used in GTA VI. Last year, we covered an excellent explanation from GTAwiki admin and 3D artist Monkeypolice188 who dismissed claims of GTA VI assets in GTA Online. It is actually the other way around. This came after many fans thought vehicles from GTA VI were coming to GTA Online.
Instead, they were made for GTA Online and then have since been used in GTA VI. Rockstar Games will create assets for GTA V/GTA Online then spruce them up for GTA VI. We’d highly recommend reading the full explanation given which includes how Rockstar Games work.
We will continue to see more assets found in the GTA VI trailers and screenshots popup in GTA Online between now and May 26th 2026.
