A Red Dead Redemption themed bar has been opened complete with details found in the game. Every inch of the building, both the exterior and interior, is made to look like it is straight out of the games.
First spotted by Reddit user The__Goof, the bar is called Valentine and is located in West Lake, Hangzhou, China. The user shared several photos of what it looks like from the outside and inside. The layout of the building itself is down to the stairs is inspired by Smithfield’s Saloon as found in Valentine.
Wanted posters of Dutch can be spotted alongside various props such as cowboy hats, and lassos. The photo of Dutch, Arthur and Hosea can be seen plus artwork of Arthur on a wall. Menus follow the same style of papers seen in the game complete with artwork.

Here To Stay?
It is unknown how long this bar has been opened. A commenter on the Reddit thread said they saw it for themselves at New Year’s so it has been open at least a few months. It appears to be a permanent location. A few other video game inspired bars are also located in the same district.
Some fans have speculated Take-Two will attempt to shut it down but as this is in China it will be more difficult to do. You can view more photos of this bar below, clicking on the image opens them in full resolution.

This is not the first time a real-world location has been created based on Rockstar Games‘ titles. I visited the real life version of Cluckin’ Bell in San Diego. Not only did they deliver on creating an authentic experience from the GTA world but it also had great food. Unfortunately, Take-Two Interactive took issue with the name and sent a cease and desist letter. You can read more about my experience at the Cluckin’ Bell here.
