GTA fans will be returning to Vice City in GTA 6 but it’s not a direct sequel to the 80s era classic GTA Vice City. But what if? What if a follow up to GTA Vice City’s story was made and set in present day? The YouTube channel TeaserPlay has you covered. They make video game concepts in Unreal Engine 5. Even though they are trailers and not real, playable games it is still interesting to look at. TeaserPlay take fan favourite classics and see how they would look as a modern remake or even make their own new game concept trailers.
For example, a few weeks ago we took a look at their GTA San Andreas remake concept. It showcases graphics that fans would have liked to have seen instead of what they got from the official remasters in 2021.
The return of Tommy Vercetti in Unreal Engine 5
Whilst we’re fairly certain an actual sequel continuing after the events of GTA Vice City won’t happen, this fan-made concept is still fun to look at. Set 37 years after GTA Vice City, the video shows us Tommy landing back in the city. With flashbacks inserted in for comparison, it will take you on a trip down memory lane.
It is important to note this is not a real game, it does not function like a game nor is playable. It’s a trailer made inside of the latest engine from Epic Games. The video is also in glorious 4K resolution so you can peek at all the details. Check out the full trailer right below.
In other Unreal Engine related news, fans have recreated Grove Street for Fortnite. Thanks to Epic’s new Unreal Engine tools for content creation, there are no limits but creativity. You can check out the Fortnite version of the most iconic street on the west coast here.
