An eagle-eyed fan has spotted a two extremely minor characters from Red Dead Redemption 2 in GTA 6 Trailer 2 and screenshots. The detail created by Rockstar Games will delight fans of the wild west game.
Some fans have claimed for many years that Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption are in the game shared universe. This is due to a few things that have popped up in GTA V / GTA Online over the years including as recent as June last year.
A lot of the time it can be put down to just Rockstar liking their other games though and wanting to make fun easter eggs that are not part of the main story.
Presidents In GTA 6
In terms of GTA VI, the cash notes seen in the second trailer and screenshots feature the presidents seen in Red Dead Redemption 2. Reddit user cph2001 made this excellent discovery.
Cash is shown in a club screenshot and if you look close enough the figure on the $10 note below is Thaddeus Waxman. He was president during the time of Red Dead Redemption 2. The image of him on the right below is from his Cigarette Card from that game.

On another bank note, the $1 one, is President Hardin who was in charge of the United States at some point before Red Dead 2’s story. These dollar bills can be seen in both the trailer and the same club screenshot.
Much like Waxman, he has a Cigarette Card but also a portrait in the game. He’s also on the $10 note prop found in Red Dead Redemption 2. This is not the first time Hardin has been seen in Grand Theft Auto. He was also the figure on the $100 note introduced in GTA Online’s The Contract update.

High Quality Trailer
Details like this can be seen in Trailer 2 thanks to Rockstar releasing an uncompressed, 63mbps version. This high bit-rate trailer can be downloaded directly from Rockstar Games’ website. They also did put out the first trailer in all of its glory too.
