A trailer for the next GTA Online update titled San Andreas Mercenaries has been released by Rockstar Games. This year’s GTA Online summer update is centred around brand new private military aircraft content and quality of life improvements.
The latest newswire post from Rockstar reads “It’s payback time … see Merryweather Security and their corrupt killers for hire get what’s coming to them in the explosive new trailer for GTA Online: San Andreas Mercenaries.
Join up with expert pilot and skilled merc Charlie Reed to lead his new outfit — the Los Santos Angels — on a series of dangerous counter operations to disarm and disrupt the ruthless forces of Merryweather Security, with the chance for you and your friends to earn your own fortunes along the way.”

Many fans have been waiting for even more details on this update and the studio have announced that “even more info” on this DLC will be coming “later this week, including details on how we’re continuing to build on and enhance the overall GTA Online experience with San Andreas Mercenaries.” We’ll be covering this once Rockstar have released it.

From the trailer, we can spot several new details. For example, in this shot of the Avenger’s interior, we can see a Thruster jetpack. Perhaps it can be stored inside this plane.
Here’s another look at the new fighter jet inspired by the F-35 Lightning II. This shot confirms it does have VTOL capabilities.
We also get to see a trio of a new off-road vehicle model.
GTA Online San Andreas Mercenaries will release on June 13th across all current GTA Online platforms. These are the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
