Grand Theft Auto V roleplay is currently one of the most popular played and one of the most watched game mods over the past couple of years.
Roleplay Servers for Grand Theft Auto V are a Multiplayer Modification created by the team at FiveM allowing the PC community to create basically what they want in custom dedicated servers. Although they have been acknowledged by Rockstar Games & Take-Two Interactive, they are not supported by either company, but they turn a blind eye to people playing these servers as long as Crypto Currencies and real transactions are kept out of the gameplay.
Because of this, hundreds, if not thousands of custom Roleplay servers have been created by the community, from custom racing servers, Police Vs Crooks servers and full open world roleplay servers that allow you to play as Trash collectors, Truck Drivers, Taxi Drivers and even Emergency Services.
Now a new and upcoming Server, named Helix RP allows you to do all of this in one server.
What is Helix RP?
Helix RP is a brand new English Speaking Whitelisted Roleplay Server in GTAV using the FiveM Modification on PC, created by a small group of friends that met playing previous Roleplay servers.
Helix RP offers an open world Roleplay with 100 players being able to roam around Los Santos and Blaine County at any one time. The Server is an English Speaking server but allows people to join from anywhere across the globe.
You will join the server as an individual character that you create, start off with nothing and take your character down whichever path you choose. From an honest lifestyle where you can work as a Tow Truck Driver, Garbage Collector, Fast Food Worker, Bus Driver and lots more, then you can also apply to become a Taxi Driver, EMS or even become a Police Officer and uphold the law. All these jobs require a recruitment and training process. If you dont want to ‘work’ for somebody else, you can also apply to own your own legal business, or you can start your own illegal business, like running a Meth Lab.
If an honest Lifestyle isn’t your thing, you’re more than welcome to join or start a gang, join in Gang Warfare’s, shoot a cop, rob your local Stores and restaurants or create a heist on one of the many banks across San Andreas, the options are endless.
Helix RP wants to give players the freedom to do what they wish whilst still creating the highest quality Roleplay it possibly can. We mentioned the Server will offer opportunities for players to do Heists, but they arent the same heists as what other roleplay servers offer. They will be custom made heists just for this server.
Emergency Services
Helix RP allows players to apply to join the EMS, and the Police Department. Applying to any of these will require you to do an interview and then onto your training.
Join the EMS as a Paramedic, then gain the training and experience and go on to being part of the Search & Rescue team, going through caves and up Mountains looking for people, or go onto being a pilot for the Air Ambulance, become an EMS Off Road Specialist or a Diving Expert, as part of the EMS roles in Helix, all the roles have been created on a custom script exclusive to this server.
Want to become a Police Officer in Helix RP? Well once you pass the interviews to become a PD, you’ll join the ranking structure to work your way up. You’ll start off as a Police Cadet where you’ll progress through the training program where you’ll go out patrolling with a fully trained Police Officer. After that, you’ll no longer be a Rookie Officer and will be able to go out patrolling San Andreas on your own as a Solo Cadet, working your way up to a Police Officer.
After you have shown like you can protect and serve the citizens of Los Santos and become a Police Officer the progression doesn’t stop, get promoted as a Police Supervisor where you can become part of the command team, authorise warrants and manage the staff of the LSPD.
The LSPD in Helix RP also have a Major crimes department that will investigate all the major crimes within the city. The team behind the roleplay server have also confirmed that the S.W.A.T division and the K-9 units are in progress and coming soon.
You’ll also get customised Police Uniforms, gear and Police Cars, so you wont be using the basic 2013 stuff that Rockstar gave us in 2013.
The server also has a fully written Penal code to keep order within the state. The penal code is written to cover everything from petty theft, illegal car racing all the way to murders and heists. The team behind the server have really gone all out for the Police Force to make sure everything is as realistic as the game allows it to be.
News & Events
Weazel also plays a part into the server. Anything you do in the server could be caught by the Weazel News team. Newspaper articles are published on a regular basis reporting on actual in server incidents. So if you’re wanted by the LSPD for a murder, you’ll probably end up seeing it in the paper. Hosting an in game event? it’ll probably be published. So next time you cause chaos in the city, look out for the news journalists and give them a wave.
Also look out for in game events that will be hosted by other members. Bus Tours, Pride events, yoga and more have been hosted so far in the server. Look out on Social Media for upcoming events that will bring the player base together and make the game more interesting.

Joined this place recently, its SOOO fun!!! The gameplay is interesting, the people are welcoming, inclusive and have super fun characters! I totally suggest people check it out!
Love playin on this server, the people are interesting, the game runs smooth unlike some other places I have played in and there is a good amount of stuff to do legally and illegally. They just recently opened a player business and will do more in the future, super cool!
Signed up yesterday and enjoyed my first few hours in the city, weโll see how it goes. Met a cop and he was pretty helpful.
This place is great, used to dev with the owner and the guy is focused on quality! Server runs great, little to no bugs, and the server is filled with custom content. This place deserves players because its got the quality, and from 1 guy doing it all, its amazing. The community is great and welcoming to new players. New gangs, groups, characters are being developed every day! Come join the fun, its a blast!
