Rockstar Games have introduced a new perk to their monthly subscription service called GTA+.
As part of the latest and new GTA+ month, Rockstar have announced they’re putting GTA V’s Story Mode into the service. This comes several months after GTA Online was placed into the ever-growing GTA+ Games Library.
Anyone who has an active membership to the service can now play GTA V Story Mode without owning the game. This means you can pay as little as $7.99 / £6.99 / €7,99 a month for full access to GTA V’s single player component . Of course, that means you can enjoy all of the other benefits part of GTA+ too.
With GTA+ being only available on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC’s Enhanced version, you can only play GTA V Story Mode with this membership on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 and PC Enhanced. If you want to play GTA Online, it will require an active PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass subscription to play still.

GTA V is the latest game to be playable as part of GTA+. The lineup contains Red Dead Redemption, GTA Online, L.A. Noire and the GTA Trilogy. Plus, Bully, GTA Chinatown Wars, Liberty City, Vice City and GTA III for mobile are also playable in the GTA+ Games Library.

WDYM “PC Enhanced”? That’s the name for GTA V version and those who have it they obviously don’t need this GTA V on GTA+.
Technically, if you don’t own GTA V on PC you can subscribe to GTA+ and get GTA V PC Enhanced. £6.99 for a month is cheaper than purchasing GTA V outright which some people might want to do. We’ve seen users do this on console.
