GTA V graphics mod, NaturalVision Enhanced, just got a major new update. The favourite mod by Razed and other developers has gained a ton of significant upgrades. The team have spent the past few months since the last update overhauling the graphics of GTA V in many ways. We’ll be taking a look at all the highlights for this update.
Whilst this update is for the Enhanced version of the game on PC, Razed notes that the dev team are going to soon start on bringing some of these new features to the GTA V Legacy version on PC which is great to see. Without further ado, let’s get into this new update.
NaturalVision Enhanced Next-Gen Graphics Update Features
Upgraded Vehicle Shaders

Physically based rendering (PBR)-inspired paint has been applied to all vehicle parts using GGX specular and clearcoat. This will work across base game and modded vehicles. Metallic flakes have been added to certain paint types.
Upgraded Weapon Shaders

Upgraded Bloom Shaders

Convolution bloom and halation and lens effects has been added. You can adjust the bloom intensity, samples and number of spikes through the NVE Graphics menu.

A physically-based sky scattering model has been added. This will provide realistic colors and lighting across all times of day.
Upgraded Motion Blur Shader

Tweaks have been made by increasing samples and velocity.
Rain Changes

Raindrops and wetness has been added to vehicles, peds and props. Plus, the resolution of puddles has been increased and shaders look better.
Upgraded Skin Shaders

There is now realistic skin translucency and cloth sheen using modern PBR techniques.
Upgraded Water Shaders

The water shaders has been improved by the team adding subsurface scattering, GGX specular, whitecaps and physically-based water absorption.
New Vegetation

More additions include:
