Rockstar Games like to mirror what happens in the real world with GTA Online so inflation is coming to Los Santos and Blain County’s transportation. It is not all bad news though as some players will be pleased to see which vehicles will be increasing in cost. There are some vehicles which will see their prices cut indefinitely.
In their latest Newswire post, Rockstar Games have revealed some changes coming to GTA Online’s in-game economy. This is not the first time the company have adjusted prices in the game. Back in December, Shark Cards got a boost in how much GTA$ they would give you for your hard earned real money. Plus completing Vehicle Cargo Sell Missions in Public Sessions awarded a bonus. Payouts on Smuggler’s Sell Missions were also permanently tripled.

When is this price update coming?
Rockstar Games confirmed in their latest Newswire post this pricing update will take effect in GTA Online on April 27th. This means you have two weeks from the date of writing to purchase vehicles before the prices rise. We’d also recommended not purchasing the vehicles that will have their prices discounted until that day.
What’s next?
Rockstar say they are not done here. Their blog post notes that they “are also evaluating potential future adjustments, including re-balancing certain aerial vehicles to help protect bystanders in Freemode. We will share more details on this as well as other fine-tuning efforts and service updates soon.”
