GTA 6 posters have begun appearing on buildings at various retailers. The marketing train is picking up speed.
Last week, I visited a retail park and spotted an official GTA VI poster placed on the outside of a store building. You can see photos of it below.

Some people will also have questions about the age rating on the poster. It is a provisional 18+ PEGI rating. A final rating will be published in the coming weeks.
These posters are the A1 sized and have been distributed by Rockstar Games/Take-Two Interactive to select retail stores such as Smyth’s. Inside the toy store was lots of A4 pieces of paper telling customers they can pre-order GTA VI for £67.99, a little less than the recommended retail price. These codes in boxes can be picked up from November 12th ahead of its launch. There are not many retail chains offering physical code in box copies compared to 2013 when every store had discs of GTA V.
Back then, small posters, large posters, plastic bags, cardboard standees where in supermarkets, tech shops, department stores and more. Those days are long gone. Even Red Dead Redemption 2 had a just as big retail presence. I remember claiming a Red Dead Redemption 2 standee shortly after launch and putting it a wall where it remains to this day. I get the feeling there won’t be much of those around with Grand Theft Auto VI. These GTA VI posters up right now will end up being quite the collector’s item.
More and more shops should get limited display posters and units as the weeks go on and we get closer to November 19th. Elsewhere, Rockstar and Miami-Dade county are busy putting up large scale signs in downtown Miami. Learn more here.
