Rockstar Games have given out a special GTA 6 Christmas gift to their employees and fans have shared how desperate they are to get it themselves. As 2024 comes to a close and Trailer 2 not in sight, the community is taking anything they can and this GTA 6 themed merch is the best we’ve got.
On Thursday, several Rockstar Games developers working on the next Grand Theft Auto game Tweeted pictures of their yearly gift bag from the company. Typically, the development teams will get exclusive clothing and other merchandise which is never released publicly.
For 2024, the gift bags included a Rockstar Games logo branded umbrella, carrying bag and a crewneck. The crewneck jumper’s base design has been on sale at the Rockstar Games store for some time now.
However, the one that the developers received had the Rockstar Games text with the same gradient as the GTA 6 logo and sunset artwork from last year. Below is a comparison of the GTA 6 logo and artwork versus the Rockstar Games employee exclusive crewneck.
GTA fans responded to various developers at Rockstar wishing this crewneck will be purchasable by the public.
One of the game testers and Rockstar also stated they have finished work for the year. We’d expect development on GTA 6 has largely paused until some point in January when the developers return to work.
Some fans are still holding onto hope that a second trailer for GTA VI will release this Christmas based on various highly speculative theories. Instead, Rockstar are spreading Christmas cheer in GTA Online. Find out what’s happening in Los Santos over the festive season here.
