In a new Newswire post announcing pre-orders are open for next gen GTA V, Rockstar Games have shared additional details. From new artwork and screenshots to free rewards, returning players have a lot to look forward to.
The blog post starts with the new cover art for the latest versions of Rockstar’s blockbuster. The gold outline is a subtle change to differentiate the PS5 and Xbox Series version from it last gen.
Rockstar go on to say players who move to the new version of GTA Online will receive “a fully converted Karin S95 souped up by the experts at Hao’s Special Works”. On top of that you will also get a “Hao’s Special Work Racing Outfit and set of new Chameleon paints usable on all vehicles.” Rockstar Games shared a 4K resolution screenshot of the new Karin S95 racing in the streets of Los Santos.
Following this, Rockstar discussed the new career builder coming to GTA Online on PS5 and Xbox Series consoles. In case you missed it, this new feature is to help new players or those who want to reset their character. Upon starting GTA Online, you will be greeted with “a business property, a vehicle, and a weapon — with room to add useful upgrades and a little extra GTA$ to begin.” Rockstar shared a great new piece of artwork showing the 4 types of businesses you can take up with the career builder.
The 4 business types to choose from are Executive, Gunrunner, Nightclub Owner, or Biker. You will receive GTA$4,000,000 to use on the essentials to run the business. A new detail is that Rockstar are allowing you to save a maximum of GTA$1,000,000 from this drop to take into GTA Online and splash on anything you’d like!
Fans are eagerly waiting to play the GTA V Story all over again and GTA Online at 4K with Ray Tracing but also the option to play at 60FPS with reduced resolution.
The next gen versions of GTA V and GTAO will also benefit from the faster loading times thanks to the new consoles. Los Santos and Blaine County will also see “increased population and traffic variety, increased vegetation density, improved lighting quality across shadows, water reflections, and other elements. Improved anti-aliasing, motion-blur, highly detailed new explosions, fire, and much more are also part of this new package.”
Stay tuned to RockstarINTEL for news updates on the next gen versions of GTA V!
