With the two GTA 6 trailers, we now have an official albeit small list of songs that will appear in the game on the various radio stations. We’ll be taking a look at all of them
The songs Rockstar Games used in the trailers for GTA V all were in the final game as tracks on radio stations. It would make sense to hear the trailer music in-game. Trailer 1 only featured a single song.
However, Trailer 2 introduced a few which were not part of the 2022 leaks (mind you many of which were in GTA V so could just have been placeholders). All but one of the songs in trailer 2 were playing on a radio anyway either in a car or in buildings such as stores. So far we have a variety of genres so we should expect such diverse radio stations once again.

- Child Support by Zenglen (Trailer 2 Song)
- I Love Rock N Roll by Joan Jett (Trailer 2 Song)
Music x Rockstar Games
Music has been integral to not only GTA’s DNA but also Rockstar Games’ since the beginning given the founders’ previous job. Tracks featured in past GTA titles have gained a new life due to their feature in the games and even trailers. We have seen this again already with GTA VI.
Tom Petty’s Love is a Long Road gained around 40,000% plays thanks to its inclusion in Trailer 1. Then with the new trailer, Spotify was able to share stats once again. The Pointer Sisters’ Hot Together earned a 182,000% rise in plays on the platform compared to the previous week.
Rockstar Games added more music and radio stations in GTA Online over the past decade or so. More additions to GTA VI music post launch seems fairly reasonable to assume. Plus, a leak earlier this year had DJ Khaled set to host his own station within the game at launch.
In other GTA VI news, Rockstar Games shared the second trailer to their TikTok page. This was their first ever post on the platform. A potential connection to GTA V’s story might also have been spotted in the trailer. If you’re looking for more video footage of GTA VI, Rockstar shared several clips including some at 60FPS. I need JB Smooth back again, his radio talk show was my favorite line, I could careless about the songs. Songs only moved me in Vice City during the 80’s made me feel like a kid lol.
they gotta put songs by Justice, Daft Punk, and Tame Impala in the game
I hope they had some heavy metal or some classic rock music like ac-dc or guns and roses. Also I would be cool if they made a way to connect your Spotify Playlist to the radio so you could listen to your own music.
I hope for the song running up that hill by Kate Bush because a stranger things if there’s a stranger things parody in game
And firework by Katy Perry and hold on by Wilson Phillips

Gotta bring back V-Rock to GTA 6. That station fits for Vice City.
Hopefully modern V-Rock will play like Hard Rock/Heavy Metal songs from the 1970’s/1980’s/1990’s and maybe some from the 2000’s current but do not pass 2010’s.
Maybe a Classic Rock station would be awesome to have in Vice City as well.
Need classic Florida hip hop…. 69 Boyz, 2 Live Crew, Poison Clan, Trick Daddy, Trina, 95 South, Dis n Dat, DJ Magic Mike…. Stuff like that….

They should add Flash FM back and have it be the replacement for Non Stop Pop from GTA V

I also hope that rockstar doesn’t continue neglecting the heavier metal scene like dying fetus, cannibal corpse, cryptopsy, and cerebral incubation. More variety is definitely gonna make the fans happier, I’m sure we can all agree

Many think it is I Love Rock N Roll by Joan Jett which is why we put it in the list. It appears to be a cover of it though as it is slightly different, it is currently unknown exactly which cover it is 🙂
