Rockstar Games’ partnership with Twitch continues to grow ahead of GTA 6 with new rewards. We’ve seen the two companies collaborate over the years and now fans can once again earn in-game items for GTA Online by simply watching Twitch.
We’ve seen over the years how Rockstar helps the Twitch community out. From booths at TwitchCon to giving away real money to streamers, this is development is another item to the long list of things Rockstar have done for the live streaming platform.
Afterall, GTA V was the most watched game on Twitch last year. On top of that, one of Twitch’s executives recently revealed how the pair are working together for GTA 6.
GTA RP Drops Enabled
First spotted by community member and insider Tez2, Rockstar Games revealed the new promotion on a new webpage on their site. You can link your Twitch account with your Rockstar Games account to earn the rewards.
The webpage explains why Rockstar and Twitch have teamed up now along with key information on the Twitch Drops. This includes the rewards, the time frame they are available for and how to actually earn them. You can read that all below:
Marbella 3
Check out some of the top GTA RP creators on the Spanish-speaking roleplay scene during the Marbella 3 event September 1 – 29. Link your Twitch account to your Rockstar Games account and watch select streams to claim up to GTA$1,000,000 and the Rockstar Racing Suit in GTA Online.

You can see the breakdown of cash and hours required to earn the rewards:
- Watch for 2 hours and claim the reward GTA$200K
- Watch for 4 hours and claim the reward GTA$300K
- Watch for 6 hours and claim the reward GTA$500K
- Watch for 8 hours and claim the reward Rockstar Racing Suit
So as you can see, from September 1st, everyone can earn a nice $1m cash injection to their GTA Online bank accounts on top of the recent GTA$ cash giveaways from Rockstar. Plus, the previously earnable Rockstar Racing Suit can be obtained for those who did not unlock it via challenges in the past. Be sure to connect your Rockstar Games account with your Twitch one.
Rockstar Keep Supporting GTA RP
Rockstar Games acknowledged this outside of the webpage by retweeting a Tweet from the Marbella server’s official account. This is yet another sign of support for the GTA RP scene.
Back in April, it was rumoured Rockstar Games met with esports organisation Loud over a GTA RP partnership ahead of GTA 6. Then last August Rockstar gave away cash to GTA Online players for GTA RP server Complexo’s CPX event.
In other recent GTA VI and Twitch news, the company’s CEO Dan Clancy discussed GTA VI and his thoughts on what Twitch are looking to do in an interview. Plus, how GTA V will continue to do very well on Twitch even when GTA VI has come out. You can read more here.
