From the streets of San Andreas to New York City, Spider-Man Remastered follows the long list of games that have seen CJ from GTA San Andreas modded into them! Recently, Sony and Insomniac Games released the PC version of their highly acclaimed superhero game on PC and fans had been anticipating what they could do with mods. In just mere days after release, the first mod tools were released by the community. These tools were basic in the sense it would allow texture and asset swapping with those already in the game’s files. Now, a mesh importer tool has been released which unleashes a whole new era of mods.
Naturally, characters that find their way into any game with mesh importing support have begun appearing as mods to download. Carl Johnson is one of these iconic video game characters gamers like to bring into any game for the meme. Thanks to Nic, you can now download and play as CJ in Spider-Man Remastered with this mod! This adds a whole new dynamic to playing Spider-Man and you can also follow the train in NYC now by web swinging.
Mod Details
Featuring HD textures, this fully rigged model replaces the Advanced Suit as this is the one modders are using for mesh importing. A few updates were recently released to fix issues with textures plus add CJ as the suit’s thumbnail. They also improved fingers and neck rigging. You can see some of the improvements made to this mod so far with the images below.
The mod is still not without some glitches when it comes to poses but this is due to the infancy of modding tools for Spider-Man Remastered. In the near future you can expect to see greater improvements to this mod.
