New GTA Online Update Vehicle Confirmed by Rockstar

The new vehicle coming in the next GTA Online update has been confirmed by Rockstar Games. This comes after the successful completion of a community challenge set by the game studio.

Fans were asked this past week to earn GTA$15 billion by exporting vehicles for Simeon. This was dubbed the “Simeon’s Employee of the Month Challenge“. Rockstar said the GTA Online community in return would unlock a special livery for a brand new vehicle. The identity of the vehicle and its livery has remained a mystery until just now.

The community wins

In the latest newswire post, Rockstar Games announced the community earned GTA$19,053,404,749 via exports smashing the target. That’s over 4 billion GTA dollars more than the target in just a week. Everyone who participated should be proud of the efforts.

The new car’s identity has been revealed

Later on in their post, Rockstar confirm the identity of this mystery vehicle. The new car is the Grotti Turismo Omaggio. They also work kind enough to give us a screenshot of the new car from Grotti.

In the screenshot, we can see the car drifting in the streets of Los Santos. The car is wrapped in the exclusive livery that all players will receive.

The libery is yellow, black and white in colour. It’s also features Rockstar Games’ text logo long with some in-game brand sponsors and the number 25. This number is significant as December is the 25th anniversary of the company. That’s why the GTA 6 trailer is coming in December.

The livery reminds us a little bit of the one used by Rockstar’s own developers in a real-life race at the Nürburgring which they won.

When will this car release?

Rockstar have confirmed this car and livery will be part of the GTA Online Winter Update. Whilst they have not announced a date yet, we expect it to be December 12th. We’ve laid down the reasons why here.
