Yet another artist has seemingly leaked details about how GTA 6 will handle and feature radio stations plus Drake could be set to have his very own radio station with an interesting feature.
Over the past few months and years, several musicians have leaked their involvement in GTA VI. For example, ScHoolboy Q shared on Twitter back in February last year that he’ll be in GTA VI with music of his. Also rapper/streamer T-Pain also said he has worked on GTA 6 with Rockstar.
DJ Khaled did not leak himself being part of GTA 6 but a rumour came out earlier this year that claimed he will host his own station within the game at launch. Following GTA VI Trailer 2, we now have a few confirmed songs for the radio stations in the game. You can check them out here.
Drake In GTA 6 With Custom Radio Stations?
In a new interview first spotted by a reddit user, rapper Jermaine Dupri has seemingly revealed new details about GTA VI after he was contacted by Rockstar Games. Within the first few minutes of the interview, the artist shared “they asked me to do Grand Theft Auto” and “Drake has his own radio station on Grand Theft Auto”.
Given neither Dupri nor Drake are in GTA V it makes it sound like he is referring to GTA VI. There is also no confirmation from him that he even took up the offer from Rockstar.
The musician goes onto explain “Drake can actually upload music that we probably have never even heard online on that video game”. Fans have speculated for years about “what if artists could make their own stations/playlists?”
Well, it might end up happening in GTA 6. That is assuming everything Jermaine Dupri has said is indeed accurate. This would potentially open up more variety and ever changing radio stations as you drive across Vice City and the state of Leonida.
