Rockstar Games are giving away two luxury cars in GTA Online plus L.A. Noire to GTA+ subscribers at no additional cost to their existing membership. The company have steadily bolstered the value of their monthly payment service over the past few months. That is not stopping as a new game and bonus car joins the list of perks.
Rockstar Games previously communicated the detective thriller and Bully would follow Red Dead Redemption into GTA Online’s subscription service at some point this year. Then on Wednesday, Rockstar confirmed L.A. Noire would join GTA+ today alongside two freebies.
L.A. Noire is now in GTA+
Announced in Rockstar’s Newswire post on Wednesday, L.A. Noire has joined the GTA Online membership service. This means you can play the entire game on Xbox and PlayStation as long as you have an active GTA+ subscription. You’ll lose access to the game once your membership ends though. The version GTA+ members can play is the 2017 re-release that runs the game at 4K on Xbox Series X and PS5.
The company have steadily bolstered the value of their monthly subscription service. The increase in value has been met by a price increase for new members though. Current subscribers will see the price hike in June.
Free GTA Online vehicles
To create synergy between GTA Online and L.A. Noire in GTA+, Rockstar are doing a small giveaway within GTA V’s online mode. All GTA+ members will be able to claim the Classique Broadway and Albany Roosevelt luxury vintage cars in-game. This is on top of the usual free vehicle so GTA+ members get three free cars this month.
This is a nice unexpected bonus if you are a GTA+ member or are looking to sign up for say L.A. Noire. The usual cost of the Classique Broadway is $925,000 meanwhile the Albany Roosevelt would cost $750,000.
Aside from L.A. Noire. and a whole host of perks for GTA Online, GTA+ now boasts full access to Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition (GTA III, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas), Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and Chinatown Wars, and Red Dead Redemption. If you don’t own the PS5/PS4 port of Red Dead or mobile versions of GTA LCS and CW, this makes the value of GTA+ much better.
L.A. Noire still has a following of fans who enjoyed this 1940s outing in the City of Angles. Whilst the developer, Team Bondi, no longer exist, fans have requested a sequel. It did get a Switch port and a VR version a few years ago which released to a mixed reception.
