The GTA Vice City Definitive Edition on mobile has entered GTA+. Rockstar Games announced the move on Thursday with the new GTA+ month which contains a bunch of perks for subscribers. Vice City on mobile is the latest of several Rockstar Games classics that can be played through GTA+.
GTA III was the first of the remastered trilogy on mobile entering GTA+ back in July. Now we have the following GTA installment. Whilst some fans would expect GTA San Andreas to show up in a couple of months, that depends on the contract with Netflix. It is currently the only one from the trilogy still part of Netflix and has racked up around 50 million downloads as of this summer.
For quite some time now, GTA+ members have been able to enjoy the full GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition on their PS5 or Xbox Series X|S if they had an active subscription. However, subscribers can now check out GTA Vice City’s mobile port on their iOS and Android devices.
Updates Made

Updates were made to both the iOS and Android versions of GTA Vice City Definitive which are required to be downloaded. The app no longer costs $19.99 and anyone can download it for free.
However, upon launching you’ll be asked to either pay $19.99 or sign into a Rockstar Games account with an active GTA+ membership. There is a 30 minute free trial for everyone which is enough time to get started in Vice City.
Released in late 2021 to much criticism, the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition was a disaster on consoles. Then after 2 years of delays, the mobile ports made by Rockstar Australia (Formerly Video Game Deluxe) released to much joy from fans.
They fixed many of the longstanding issues. Those improvements then made their way to the console and PC versions last year. Most recently, Rockstar took over publishing of the Switch version and it led to a re-release which upset fans.

In terms of what other games GTA+ has on offer, it contains a mix of console and mobile versions across Rockstar’s catalog.
As mentioned before, there is the full GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition on consoles, plus mobile versions of GTA III, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, Chinatown Wars and Bully. Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire and Bully are also all available to be enjoyed on PlayStation or Xbox Series X|S. If you want to find out everything in this new GTA+ month, check it out here.
