The fan favourite GTA V graphics mod, NaturalVision Evolved, has just received its second update of 2025. It brings new features and improvements to the graphics suite. For those unaware, this mod makes GTA V look even more realistic compared to the base game from 2013. Last year saw the mod get several major upgrades from start to finish. It was the biggest year for the mod yet and 2025 is already shaping up to be another big one.
Like usual, Razed who leads development team behind the mod shared a new post on their Patreon detailing the February/March 2025 update. There is an accompanying trailer showing off the majority of the update’s additions. We’ll be taking a look at all the update features below.
Given the recent release of the GTA V Enhanced version on PC, fans have wondered if NVE will come to the new version. The answer is yes. It is currently in development and will come out in due course. Until then, let’s take a look at what’s possible in GTA V Legacy with NVE.
February/March 2025 Update Features
New Reflections For Volumetric Effects

In the previous update we saw the introduction of the volumetric Aurora Borealis effect. There are now reflections for this so you can see it shine across surfaces like cars and water. Volumetric clouds also are now reflected on glass, vehicles, water etc. Performance when using these volumetric effects has also been improved along with various bugs.
New Vehicle Lights

Over 25 vehicles have received headlight and taillight bump maps. This shader delivers a subtle but great looking improvement to these few dozen vehicles.
Road And Prop Updates

The redo of Los Santos roads continues! This time the team added parallax roads to Del Perro and the surrounding area. This includes up to the iconic pier too.

Props found in the park at East Vinewood are now dynamic. You’ll be able to move the swings for example. On the vegetation front, hedges found around the Rockford Hills and Vinewood areas have been reworked for optimisation. Some sea rocks found across the countryside have been reworked too.
Suburban Rework

Last month saw Ponsonbys reworked and this time all Suburban stores have been given a makeover. The textures, lighting, props and such have all been enhanced. This is part of the ‘Extra Content Pack’ for Platinum Supporters.
