GTA San Andreas’ CJ is already playable in Armored Core 6 with this mod. It’s expected at this point that whenever a major game is released with modding capabilities such as mesh import, a Carl Johnson mod is never too far behind. What’s a little different this time though is just how quick this mod released.
Over the past year or so, we’ve seen CJ come to Spider-Man Remastered, Hogwarts Legacy, Resident Evil 4 Remake and more. No doubt when Starfield, a mod-friendly game, released within the next week, we’ll see CJ exploring the galaxy of 1000 planets in Bethesda’s new epic. Stay tuned for that.
Modders Dropoff and TKGP imported CJ from GTA San Andreas in less than 24 hours from the release of FromSoftware’s latest mecha instalment. The duo self describe this as an “abomination” and they aren’t apologetic. CJ replaces the game’s starting set pieces: HC-2000, CC-2000, AC-2000, and 2C-2000. This means it is easy for you to play as CJ right from the get go.
Armored Core 6: The Fires of Rubicon has impressed critics and fans alike. With a modding scene already here, fans can expect more content by the community on the way. You can watch the full video showing off CJ in Armored Core VI below.

Dropoff actually has released a few CJ mods in the past for games such as Watch Dogs, Demon’s Souls and The Witcher 2.
