A new GTA Online Media Stick for the game’s soundtrack has been dropped around the map. In this article we’ll be taking a look at what this media stick does and how to find it.
What is it?
Titled “Even The Score“, this mixtape features songs from the GTA Online soundtrack by Dam-Funk. The GTA Online soundtrack was released in December 2023 on all major music platforms.
This is a new collectable part of the Media Stick style found in the game. These USB sticks can be found by players on the map. The collectable functions much like the other media sticks found in the game. If you collect it with your GTA Online character, you will be able to select it as a playable mix for the Media Player option in the radio station wheel.
You can also select which mixes you want part of the Media Player playlist. To toggle them off or on, go to the the Preferences section of the Interaction Menu.
How to get the Media Stick
When you next log into GTA Online and play West Coast Classics on the radio, DJ Pooh will talk about a special mixtape to celebrate 10 years of WCC and that you’ll need to phone into the station. You will also get a text message.
To get the GTA Online / Dam-Funk media stick, you need to call up DJ Pooh of West Coast Classics. Using your in-game phone, dial the number 6115551011. If you don’t know how to dial a number, go to your contacts and then press X, Square or Space Bar and then you can enter the number. Then press X, Square or Space Bar to cal..
Once you’ve called up the station, it will be added to your contacts so if you get the “busy” calling error, disconnected from the session, can’t find the media stick, or any other reason, you can just view the newly added West Coast Classics contact. You won’t need to input the numbers again.
Upon dialling then number, producer and host DJ Pooh will tell you about a location to find the stick. There are five different locations he could give you. The game map will then show the general Media stick location. When you get to the location your controller will vibrate if you get close to where the stick is.

Media Stick Locations
Galileo Observatory Wall
Head to the Galileo Observatory in Vinewood Hills. Walk along the wall where you can see Los Santos’ skyline and it will be there.
Grove Street Porch
Go to the iconic Grove Street in Davis and one of the houses has it on its porch wall. The house in question is off to the right side if you were looking down the street into the cul-de-sac.
Premium Deluxe Motorsport
Visit Simeon’s Premium Deluxe Motorsport and on the showroom table behind the cars you’ll find the stick.
Maze Bank Tower
Head to the very top of the Maze Bank Tower in downtown LS if you get this call from Pooh. The Media Stick will be on a wall near the set of stairs facing the Vinewood sign.
Del Perro Pier
Travel west to the Del Perro Pier and you can grab the Media Stick on the kiosk closest to the pier entrance.
When you have grabbed the Media Stick, you’ll earn 1000 RP.
