Rapper Skrilla has claimed his meme-creating song “Doot Doot 6 7” will be in GTA 6. This has led fans taking to social media to express their disappointment but also scepticism around if the artist is telling the truth.
For those unaware, the “6 7” meme is popular among gen alpha. The song was released in late 2024 and picked up steam in early 2025 via TikTok and Instagram. It spawned plenty memes as people just say “6 7” and it has kept its place in online culture throughout this year. It stems from Skrilla saying “6 7” in his song.
In a new episode of the Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast (spotted by GameRoll), the musician talked a variety of topics following his recent claim to fame and viral memes. Before revealing his GTA 6 inclusion, Skrilla wanted to discuss gaming in general. He asked Matt McCusker and Shane Gillis if they play PlayStation to which Shane said he plays Xbox. Skrilla responded by saying “PlayStation better”.

He went on to tell the pair that he plays Grand Theft Auto and has a “big group”. His GTA Online character looks and dresses like him plus drives the same car. Following this McCusker says “GTA rules, man” which makes Skrilla bring up GTA 6. He claims the song “Doot Doot 6 7” will be in the game likely as a radio station track. Oh and he shares Florida is his favourite state. Rockstar Games have seemingly seem the memes thanks to the popularity of the meme.
That’s my sh*t. I wait for GTA 6. I’m gonna have 6 7 on there too.”
This is yet another artist that has claimed their music will be in GTA 6. ScHoolboy Q took to Twitter back in February last year to say his music will be in GTA VI. T-Pain also said he has worked on GTA 6 with Rockstar. Also, Jermaine Dupri mentioned in an interview “Drake has his own radio station” in the game.
Furthermore, a leak from earlier this year had DJ Khaled set to host his own station within the game at launch. We already know of a few confirmed songs thanks to GTA VI Trailer 2. You can check them out here.
