A couple of fans of the Grand Theft Auto Series have taken time of of their day to remake the Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer in the original Vice City game from 2002, and it really shows how far the franchise has come in 21 years.
GTA VI Trailer recreated in Vice City
First off, we have a video from FutureGamesshow who uploaded the Video to TikTok. In which they have done an incredible job at recreating the GTA VI Trailer in Vice City. It starts off by showing Ocean Beach, showing us an empty Beach in Vice City and a skyline that small you can see the next island with cubed buildings and then showing us a populated beach in Grand Theft Auto VI with an amazing skyline with tonnes of buildings, really representing modern day Miami.
From the comparison, especially at around 14 seconds you can see how much the sea/water has changed in the Grand Theft Auto Series, showing us water in Vice City that is just sat there doing nothing but the textures were glitching to GTA 6 where there are people on Speedboats. You can also notice how character models have gone from corners to curves and how much detail there is in vegetation. Also notice how much render distances have changed over the years, its incredible.
GTA VI Trailer recreated in Vice City Stories
Another Video is from Content Creator ZacCoxTV, who is also a massive fan of the Grand Theft Auto Series. He remade the Grand Theft Auto VI trailer in Vice City Stories which was released in 2006. The last game to be set in Vice City.
Zac starts the trailer off from the very beginning in which he shows off the Bridge in GTA 6 and compares it to Island Bridge in Vice City that connects people to Starfish Island.
He then shows off Lucia in prison and compares it to the Army camp in VCS with Victor Vance. He shows off everything from how well detailed the Yachts have become in Grand Theft Auto, how well detailed the buildings, NPC and water. The series really has changed over the the 17 year comparison he has done.
