Yet another protest is being planned in solidarity of the affected ex-Rockstar Games employees. This comes after several protests occurring outside of Rockstar North in Edinburgh and Take-Two’s London and Paris offices last month. Announced by the Tech Workers Coalition on Twitter and spotted by @FriendlyAaron1, a new location has been chosen for a protest this week: Rockstar New York. Titled “New York City Rockstar Works Solidarity Rally”, the protest will take place at 5pm onwards on Friday December 5th so in just a few days. More political figures have Rockstar Games in their sights in wake of the alleged union busting scandal. This follows Rockstar’s decision to fire over 30 GTA 6 developers in October over “gross misconduct”. This has been disputed by the union who are calling it the “most ruthless act” of union busting.
