Rockstar Games have released a new background patch for GTA Online following the recent Kortz Center Heist update.
As part of the recent Event Week which contains the all-new Pegassi Ignus Pursuit, Rockstar made a another background update since the recent DLC so it is slightly different from the ones we reported on before.
The company have continued to respond to various issues which came as part of this summer’s GTA Online DLC. For example, many players became frustrated with some bugs. Especially one where the helicopter during The Kortz Center Heist had problems preventing completion. That has thankfully now been resolved.
Background updates from Rockstar fix issues without the need of downloading an update. It is all handled server side. This is a routine occurrence after a new GTA Online update so nothing out of the ordinary here.
Patch Notes
The recent background update patch notes for July 23rd have been published by Rockstar Support:
The Kortz Center Heist
- Fixed an issue that resulted in The Kortz Center Heist Mansion Plaques and Trophies being displayed without being unlocked
- Fixed an issue that resulted in the camera in the Exhibition Hall not moving during The Kortz Center Heist Finale
- Fixed an issue that resulted in the Stealth Annihilator dropping to the ground when players received the prompt to rappel during The Kortz Center Heist Finale
General
- Fixed an issue that resulted in Grace Whitney not fleeing during Most Wanted – Whitney
- Fixed an issue that resulted in KnoWay supervisors not leaving the area after collecting all three trash bags in KnoWay Out – Trash Talking
- Fixed an issue that resulted in the Velum behaving unexpectedly and causing the Mission to fail during Oscar Guzman Flies Again – Setup: Ammunition
