Rockstar Games have just released a new GTA Online update. This is the first downloadable patch since the Bottom Dollar Bounties update although Rockstar did push server side patches to fix issues earlier this month.
First spotted by Tez2 on Twitter, this new patch is a small one focused on fixing issues across all platforms. We have the download sizes for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC versions plus the patch notes.

The GTA Online July Update comes in at 2.47GB on Xbox Series X|S, 2.47GB on Xbox One, around 582.2MB on PS5 and around 957.1MB on PS4.

Rockstar Support have posted the patch notes on their website and we have them down below:

Game Stability and Performance
- General fixes for stability and security
Matchmaking and Networking
- Fixed a networking issue that resulted in vehicles becoming inaccessible or invisible
Miscellaneous
- Fixed an issue where clicking “I have read and accept” text resulted in the “I accept” box being automatically selected and the form submitted
- Fixed an issue that resulted in players being unable to open the Privacy Policy when using a mouse
Rockstar Games issued a background update to GTA Online today as well. These are server side changes and the patch notes were reported by Tez2. Below are the full patch notes:
- Fixes an issue in the “Most Wanted – Thompson” mission cutscene where Thompson clips through the ground.
- Fixes an issue where tattoos overlap between characters upon switching. This, along with the fix for unique tattoos, should resolve the two common tattoo bugs.
PS5 & Xbox Series X/S Specific Changes
- Fixes an issue where the Career Progress “Secure all bounty targets alive” counter fails to register the delivery of a Standard Bounty target kept alive.
- Patches the glitch enabling early access to drip-feed clothing and outfits for female characters.
- Patches the glitch allowing the player to never fall off the bike.
- Patches the money glitch related to keeping the same Salvage Yard Robbery Target.
- Patches a Bunker dupe glitch.
GTA Online continues
In other GTA news this week, it was revealed GTA V was the most downloaded PS5 game across Europe, USA, and Canada last month. Plus, it was the second best selling disc and digital game in all of the UK and Europe in the same time period. This is probably down to the recent Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC.
New content as part of that update has begun rolling out too. The expected drip-feed of content really got underway in the past week. Rockstar Games also seem to be preparing Nintendo Switch perks for GTA+. Members of GTA Online’s subscription service may soon be able to play classic Rockstar titles on their Switch. Find out more about this here.

Ofcourse they don’t patch glitches and bugs that actually ruin peoples experience
Yeah, fuck the new police cars. Every one of them. There is literally zero reason for them to cost almost as much as a Mk2 Oppressor

Fix the agency night life penthouse infinite black screen glitch
i can not enter nightclub from garage or penthouse garage or special cargo warehouse or arena without crashing
I agree haven’t been able to do it because of black screen, for what seems like a year now. I feel like Rockstar causes these glitches when they see people making money from it. They have 0 business ethics most greedy unfair gaming company out there. Sadly out of all the games out there might be 20 out there worth playing. Sadly Rockstar sees that most post are negative and does nothing to fix. Every move they make is greed motivated, definitely not to have HAPPY players. GREED
That’s cool and all but make it playable to some players still having a PS4 to play with players on the PS5. I wanna play with all my friends who are not yet switched over to the PS5 version
Damn all that bullshit , can we get more rolls Royce cars and put a property DLC out . I want a mansion not these same weak ass apartments/penthouse , they cool to though.
