This evening, Uber have confirmed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the US Department Of Justice are now investigating the hackers who leaked 90 videos of Grand Theft Auto VI.
A few days ago, Uber revealed it had been compromised by hackers, getting into a contractors employee account using malware and accessing the business Slack and G-Suite. Uber confirmed the hackers did not access any users information.

Uber have said the person // people who accessed their internal pages and leaked GTA 6 are part of a hacking group called Lapsus$ which have become very popular over the last year hacking businesses such as Microsoft, Cisco, Samsung, Nvidia, Okta and most recently Uber and Rockstar Games.
Along with the FBI and the DOJ, Uber have also hired some leading digital forensics firms to also help with the investigation.
Although Rockstar Games haven’t said whether they have got the Authorities involved, they have recently put a statement out acknowledging the hack saying a third party have illegally gained accessed to confidential information, so you can be certain Take-Two and Rockstar are working along side the FBI investigation.
