Red Dead Online for PC won’t feature Character Transfer

Rockstar Games has confirmed to Polygon that you won’t be able to transfer your Red Dead Online progress from console editions to PC and that cross-platform play is not coming to Red Dead. Rockstar has yet to give a reason as to why the features won’t be coming to the game, but we suspect that it might be due to money and gold glitch abuse. As such, every player will have to start from level 1 again. It’s not ideal, but it’s not the first company to make that decision and it sure won’t be the last.

Rockstar has also confirmed that all future updates for Red Dead Online will be available at the same time across all systems, thereby ruling out the possibility of limited-time exclusive updates.

Real shame about no transfer from console to PC. I will not be buying a second copy because of this decision.

This isnt confirmation, when will you learn that unless it comes from Rockstar newswire then its just speculation. With that said i am ready to refund if character transfer isnt there.
