Popular GTAV roleplay server, Orange County Roleplay, also known as OCRP is set to close early next year it has been announced.
OCRP has been a Grand Theft Auto V server for over 7 years and has been considered one of the best within the community. The server, founded by content creator Jeff Favignano, features a few Code Zero Gaming members such as Bay Area Buggs and Civ Ryan.
Announced a couple of days ago by content creators Jeff Favignano and Bay Area Buggs, OCRP roleplay server will be closing down in 4 months time. Jeff announced it as a post on YouTube, stating that after a community meeting he has informed them of the end date of the server. With February 26th 2026 being the closure date.
Jeff went onto to say that the server has been open nonstop 24/7 since 2018 and that being an admin and owner of a server the size of OCRP for so many years is taxing. He then went onto say that the admin team for the server has now been disbanded so they can enjoy playing the server like everybody else for the final 4 months.
Bay Area Buggs also confirmed it on his latest video, thanking all the OCRP fans for all their support over the last 7 years and thanking all the members of the server for making it great and creating amazing memories. Buggs also said they are now ready to move on now that Grand Theft Auto VI is round the corner, and that they will be creating the same content they are now.
Jeff Favignano also said that he does plan on Journeying into the world of Roleplay again once GTA6 offers a roleplay platform. Which hopefully it’ll have a roleplay platform on day 1 once it releases on PC since Rockstar Games now own FiveM.
For the next 4 months, you can still expect the same Roleplay content from all of them, so lets make the most of the content and seeing Chuck Boat Boy Livingstone on our screens.
As someone who has watched GTA Roleplay from these guys since Grand Theft Auto IV, its been a fun 12 years of watching you guys, from GTA 4 multiplayer, DOJ RP server all the way to OCRP. Myself and the fans cant wait to see what content you release for GTA 6.
