The next GTA Online update, Money Fronts, has just been revealed by Rockstar Games. The company formally announced on Tuesday that they’d be releasing yet another mid-year summer DLC as expected. The new update was first teased by Rockstar last week but details of what this DLC have been scarce until now.
What Is Money Fronts About?
Rockstar say this update is all about expanding and connecting your criminal network including taking part in the biggest money laundering scheme across San Andreas. GTA Online Money Fronts lets you purchase “iconic local businesses” such as a car wash and use them to earn money through criminal activity.
Martin Madrazo returns as part of this story to introduce us to new characters. Aside from more story missions and money making tactics, there will be new vehicles too.
New Businesses Up For Sale

Several long standing locations can be purchased in this DLC. These include the Hands On Car Wash in Strawberry, the Smoke on the Water dispensary and Higgins Helitours.
The car wash is the first business to get given its lower risk of cover being blown. Once you’ve earned money from it, you can purchase the helicopter tour and dispensary. Each of these 3 businesses come with board operations. Furthermore, the businesses with increase earnings on your Weed Farm and Air Freight Cargo.
However, there is real risk. Heat will be generated from your illegal activity. If Heat gets high enough, you’ll lose attention and miss out on passive income.
New Vehicles

Rockstar have also given us a bunch of info on new vehicles coming as part of this update. So far, confirmed vehicles include the Överflöd Suzume (Super), Karin Everon RS and Woodlander SUVs, Declasse Tampa GT (Muscle). The Överflöd Suzume will be exclusive to GTA+ members for a limited time before a full roll out to all players.
Fan of law enforcement? Do more dispatch work on the brand new Western Police Bike. They also say is comes bundled with the special Summer Highway Patrol Outfit. This is already in the game files as dripfeed from the Agents of Sabotage update.
Gameplay Changes
Alongside all of this new content, Rockstar will be bringing a ton of gameplay improvements to GTA Online. The company shared some of these on Wednesday and they include the Missile Lock-On Jammer ability to 50 additional vehicles. Plus, various cutscenes will be skippable on mission replays. Also, earning of Arena Points has doubled.
Meanwhile GTA+ members now get two lucky spins per day at the The Diamond Casino & Resort. There will be even more benefits to GTA+ teased Rockstar.
Those doing sell missions in public lobbies will be pleased to know the global signal timer will be delayed. On top of that, the Boxville Van Delivery Vehicle no longer will be part of Biker Sell Missions.

When Will It Release? Can You Pre-Load It?
The next GTA Online DLC will release on Tuesday 17th June at the usual time of 10am BST. It is currently unknown if Rockstar will offer pre-loading for the update. Typically, Rockstar do let PS5 and PS4 players install the update 48 hours prior to release so be on the lookout this Sunday at 10am BST.
A patch containing new content is not the only things happening in GTA Online on June 17th. There will be a brand new Event Week and GTA+ month to enjoy.
