A new set of GTA 6 merch has been released alongside Rockstar’s involvement with the Wynwood Walls Museum.
The Wynwood Walls Museum announced in a press release that Grand Theft Auto VI will contain an area called “Stockyard” which is based on Wynwood. More than a dozen artists have original artwork in GTA VI to “authentically representing the city, culture, and identity the game pays homage to.”
According to the art center via Instagram, Rockstar teamed up with them to let Miami-Dade County residents have access to it for free from now through 2028. You can read their statement below:
Through a landmark partnership with @rockstargames, Miami-Dade County residents can now experience Wynwood Walls Museum free of charge, through 2028.
We’re grateful to Rockstar Games for their visionary support and shared love of Miami as we expand access to the arts for the people who call this city home. Wynwood Walls Museum was born from the creative spirit of the neighborhood and the vibrant energy of Miami. Since 2009, this community has remained our anchor.
Free admission includes our rotating murals and sculptures, exhibitions at Goldman Global Arts Gallery, hands-on spray-painting, and artists at work through our upcoming artist-in-residence program.
To celebrate, we’re unveiling 10 new murals on view across Wynwood and inside the Wynwood Walls Museum from Askew One, DENIAL, FAILE, Gons and Audet, Lady AIKO, Queen Andrea, Ron English, Tristan Eaton, and Miami-based artists ATOMIK and Tatiana Suarez based on their original in-game artwork from Grand Theft Auto VI.”
On top of that, The Wynwood Walls Art of Vice City Collection is coming to the Wynwood Walls Shop. Featuring those 15 artists’ work that will be found in GTA VI, this merch drop is live right now and includes tees, keyrings and more. You can view the collection below:
