Music from one of the cancelled story DLCs for GTA V has seemingly been revealed by the musical duo who created it. Fans have always wondered “what if?” GTA Online did not take off as much as it did and Story DLC did actually come out.
Whilst some of the ideas were brought into GTA Online, a piece of music from one of the planned expansions has been uploaded online. We’ll likely never seen much more from these cancelled story packs but this is still a big and interesting find.
Special Agent Trevor
As we know from datamines and such, GTA V was set to receive a few story expansions which would follow all three of the game’s protagonists. Each of them would have their own story line and one of them was referred to as Agent Trevor in the game files. The piece of music we’re talking about today comes from this previously planned story mode content.
We learned just a few months ago from Steven Ogg who plays Trevor that the DLC would have seen him go undercover. Mr Ogg said he mocapped some of it and it was “like a James Bond Trevor”. It is shame it never came to fruition. Steven also said “it just disappeared and never did it and they never followed up on it but I thought that would be cool like he gets hired.”
Whilst many fans would love to have seen Trevor take on the role as an agent, a lot of the general idea was reworked into The Doomsday Heist for GTA Online. The Diamond Casino Heist update was also adapted from singleplayer content.

GTA V Story DLC Music shared by artist
On Sunday evening, GTA community page GTA Focal posted a Tweet with a video containing one music track. They said this was by duo Sweet Valley who released it themselves back in 2021 and is from the now cancelled story DLC featuring Trevor. The track itself is called Clifford, the same name as the AI found in The Doomsday Heist.
One half of Sweet Valley is Nate Williams. He is the lead in the band “Wavves” who have a few songs in GTA V’s radio stations and missions. Plus, he hosts the Vinewood Boulevard Radio station along with fellow Wavves member Stephen Pope.
To add to all of this, a reddit user named HeySlickThatsMe has shared additional context. They claim GTA Focal did not find the music track but rather someone who wishes to remain anonymous did as it comes from a paid Patreon post.

According to this user, Sweet Valley posted this music on their Patreon in 2021. They also apparently mentioned they wrote music for a GTA V expansion and “Clifford” was one of the tracks. This track’s file name is Clifford 2 May 29.
This could mean it was track 2 and Clifford leads us to believe it was from the Agent Trevor expansion, given how closely tied that name from The Doomsday Heist is with files found in GTA V for the Trevor DLC.
The music, which was publicly shared by GTA Focal, was met with a lot of love from the GTA community. Fans also expressed their disappointment in the fact that it was never released for anything in GTA Online just because it sounds cool.
