Back in 2020, we wrote an article about the beginning of NaturalVision Evolved, the mod that will turn GTA V into a realistic paradise. Today, the hardworking team behind the mod has released an incredible trailer for the mod’s release. In this article we will go through all of the features the mod contains plus look at graphics changes.
Mod Features
You can clearly tell the mod is a huge graphical leap for GTA V but the make up of it from the features is very cool. The mod brings new parallax roads and pavements across Los Santos and the surrounding areas for enriched fidelity.
The new vegetation brings the map to life in a new way. It particularly impresses in areas that have plenty of trees and shrubs such as the mountains further out of Los Santos. Improvements are not just limited to trees and flowers but will been seen across all greenery such as Cacti.
One of my personal favourite features of this mod is the parallax interiors. This vastly improves the dated window textures in the buildings of GTA V with a far more convincing interior.
Traveling the skies of Blaine County to Los Santos will now look far more beautiful with a great volumetric cloud system. This mod gives us clouds that can render shadows on what’s below them plus look more realistic.
We also can see brand new lights from traffic lights, building signage to vehicle beams. This helps transform the look of the game especially at night time.
Plenty of the new lights are also animated too. The neon signs of clubs and the late night visits at gas stations offer a new kind of atmosphere.
FiveM players will be pleased to know you can use both of these mods for GTA V in harmony. NaturalVision Evolved is confirmed to be FiveM compatible.
Release details
According to Razed, the lead developer on the mod, it is now available in early access via their Patreon. There is a single-player beta which you can get from their website. This comes in at 6.69GB in size. Razed says “The mod is in active development and will have a full release in the future.” We will keep you up to date with any more big developments for this mod so stay tuned to RockstarINTEL.
