The fifth post-launch update for GTA V Enhanced on PC was released by Rockstar Games on Wednesday. This latest update has comes two weeks since the new PC version was released to mixed reviews from fans.
After the new version of Grand Theft Auto V released, we covered the various issues players have had here. Those issues have led to players giving the game negative reviews on Steam. They have made GTA V Enhanced the worst reviewed GTA game on Steam ever.
The good news is that Rockstar are committed to fixing GTA V Enhanced and provided various patches last week and another one this week. Whilst most of the common issues have not been resolved yet, improvements are still coming.
Fixes And Download Size
The latest update comes in at around 300-600mb depending if you play on the Rockstar Games Launcher, Steam or Epic Games Store. It will be downloaded when you sign into your chosen launcher. Patch notes were originally very vague on their support site. Rockstar have since updated them. You can read them below:
- General fixes for stability and security in GTAV Enhanced
- Fixed an issue that resulted in players receiving an alert saying “Unavailable – Ineligible Prop” when attempting to save a created Race containing the police barrier Prop
- Fixed an issue that resulted in only leaders and not crew members being able to complete the Oscar Guzman Flies Again – Tier 1 Challenge
- Fixed an issue that resulted in some players being charged when claiming the Karin S95 Migration reward from an interior in GTAV Enhanced

There are still a few other larger issues that remain unresolved in GTA V Enhanced. Those are detailed in this article here. One of them is text chat which should be coming back but could we see Discord integration? Learn more here. We hope Rockstar can get fixes out for those as soon as possible. As and when another update releases for GTA V Enhanced, we’ll be sure to report on it right here at RockstarINTEL.
Rockstar also pushed a new background update to all versions of GTA Online on Friday. Below are the patch notes compiled by Tez2.
- Patched “Skip Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid Setup Missions” glitch workaround.
- Patched “Black Box RP” glitch workaround.

Also how about the surround sound option being removed? Raised a Rockstar Support ticket about this only to get a reply after five “we are working on a solution” emails – the equivalent of being on hold – to say that I have to change my Windows settings to MONO and any spatial sound settings off so I will be able to hear everything again.
Surely if R* are paying to enhance the graphics and add stuff it makes sense to copy across the perfectly good sound options from Legacy and not have users have to change their OS settings each time they want to play?
Good job it was free, quite happily uninstalled.
Very good app
