In GTA Online this week, there’s a rare license plate up for grabs and here’s how to get it. GTA Online’s current Event Week (running from August 15th through 21st) features a Salvage Yard Robbery complete with a super good deal on a car and unique license plate.
Each week, Rockstar Games rotate the 3 available Salvage Yard Robberies and the vehicles you need to grab. We’ve known for some time now that there is a function in the game to claim the vehicle that is part of a Salvage Yard Robbery.
Salvage Yard Robberies this week
Whilst one job is unlike the others, here’s a quick list all of the available robberies and the cars featured in them this week:
- The Gangbanger Robbery – Vysser Neo with Las Venturas plate, Claimable
- The Cargo Ship Robbery – Annis ZR350
- The McTony Robbery – Willard Eudora
What is the special plate?
Las Venturas in the GTA universe is the name for Las Vegas, as seen in GTA San Andreas. This plate design was previously unavailable to be obtained until Rockstar introduced the claimable vehicles for Salvage Yards. This is the second time this plate has been claimable.
How to get the Las Venturas plate
If you do The Gangbanger Robbery, you’ll be able to claim the car part of that job. The Gangbanger car this week is the Vysser Neo featuring the Las Venturas plate. It used to cost $1,875,000 from Legendary Motorsport before it was removed from being purchased in GTA Online.
However, by doing this robbery you can make it your personal vehicle for $20,000. This is a significantly reduced fee. You can then sell this car to LS Customs for $65k if you wish to do so.
Plus, there is a way to halve the price even more. If you own a Document Forgery office, you’ll pay just $10,000. The business does not need to be active to unlock the 10k price, just simply purchased.
This is a really good way of receiving the Vysser Neo if you don’t own one already. On top of that price cut, you also get the car complete with the Las Venturas license plate.
